One determined seed.

Then, life and growth.

Whether it’s a flower, tree, or weed, plants find a way to survive and thrive in the most inhospitable conditions. The tiniest crack in cement will be forced wider and wider as a plant grows. And eventually, what sprang from a small seed will overcome and conquer the unyielding strength of the cement.

Swan Software Solutions started with the seed of an idea. Why not start a company that connected American businesses with developers in Europe? The developers were provided with a good job. The businesses were provided with good software.

What began as an idea has grown into a strong company.

The company has faced challenges, but it has overcome them. It now includes developers who live in Canada and all across Europe. However, many of our developers are Ukrainian. Most might think that Swan would give up, slow growth, or prune off the Ukrainian branch of our team. “It’s hard to grow in such conditions,” one might say.

Yet, that is exactly what Swan is doing. In spite of the conflict, Swan has hired multiple new developers. While Russia may attempt to steal our team’s freedom, Swan has made the decision to open another Ukrainian office. While some may say, “It’s better not to do business with Ukraine,” Swan has been proud that our Ukrainian developers continue to produce high-quality work while juggling relocation and defense.

While we may have team members in many places, Swan remains committed to our team members in Ukraine. We will do everything we can to continue to support them.

The smallest seed can one day grow into a mighty tree and crumble cement into gravel. Plants that face adversity become stronger and root deeper.

And always, always grow.
