State Representative Danny Lopez’s Visit to Swan Software Solutions

When you work in a great place like Carmel, IN, one realizes just how great it is to be connected to so many fantastic people.

Swan Software Solutions has been privileged to serve the Indiana tech community for 20 years! And like that game of six degrees of separation between any two people, our twenty years led to an Indiana politician visiting our office. 

After celebrating Swan’s 20th anniversary in June with a party, Swan received a writeup in local publication Current Publishing–a long-term client.

State Representative Danny Lopez noticed the write up in Current and sent a nice letter to congratulate Swan on the accomplishment of serving the tech community in Indiana for so many years.

Alex Morozov reached out to thank Rep. Lopez and invited him to visit Swan’s headquarters.

The two toured the Swan headquarters and found they had a lot in common. 

Alex and Dan discovered they had similar backgrounds. Alex shared a little about their conversation. “We had a great meeting and great talk. Dan’s parents immigrated from Cuba, I grew up in USSR, so we both know very well what socialism is about.”

They discussed how they had both ended up in Carmel. “We also talked about our history and how we ended up in Carmel. 

“Dan was living in Miami, FL, and then his wife went for her PhD to IU, and he had moved here. He was working in offices under the last few Indiana Governors. Dan just was elected replacing Rep. Jerry Torr. SWAN is in his district, so he wanted to know his constituents better.”

Dan invited Alex and Alla to his fundraising event on August 14th, and the two plan to attend.
