Shoeboxes with Swan Event

Swan has long been committed to giving back, and we love to help kids.

This year, one of our team members had the idea to create an event that centered around participating in the Christmas Child Shoeboxes program.

Of course, everyone in the office had a blast putting together boxes for kids.

One team member spent her lunch break with a friend as she picked out perfect gifts to fill boxes in honor of each of her grandchildren. Her friend filled boxes of her own.

Another team member engaged three of her nieces to help choose just the right gifts.

Imagining the joy on children’s faces had everyone feeling joyous around the office.

On the night of the event, Swan provided refreshments for anyone stopping by and extra toys to make sure every crevice of every shoebox was filled with toys, toiletries, and school supplies.

A variety of people dropped in during the open house style event. Swan’s team had fun chatting with visitors over drinks and snacks.

The real excitement, though, is thinking about the recipients of the shoeboxes and guessing where in the world they might end up!
