How Does Swan Invest Into the Future of Upcoming Tech Professionals? Meet Our Marketing Apprentice

Here at Swan Software Solutions, we believe it is important to cultivate a desire in the younger generations to solve problems creatively upon entering the workforce. Swan Software Solutions strongly values the career and skill development of young budding professionals. For this reason, Swan has partnered with Apprentice University to employ ambitious students to fulfill marketing and sales roles within our company.  Apprentice University gives students the opportunity to explore their career interests all while gaining skills they can put on their resume. Swan has embraced this program by investing in the development and mentorship of such students like our current marketing apprentice, Lydia. Lydia is given projects pertaining to content creation and marketing strategies. Some of her projects include creating new blog content, writing company case studies, making targeted email campaigns, as well as many other tasks that drive the brand awareness of Swan.

Her favorite aspect about working for Swan is the ability to use her creative skills to tell the story, value and impact of Swan to an audience. She has found that the team at Swan has been very helpful and welcoming.

When she is not working on the development of her career, you will most likely find her adventuring around on her bike with friends while capturing memories and stories on her camera. Lydia enjoys baking, reading self-development books, and late night Steak n Shake with friends. Lydia owns every version of the Wii game Just Dance and would most likely beat you at a dance battle. (Does anyone accept the challenge?) She finds herself drawn to people who have big dreams and know how to use the ever-growing resources around them to accomplish those dreams. As a budding entrepreneur, it is Lydia’s goal to create spaces in which community and vulnerability may thrive among the girl boss community.
