Our CEO’s visit to the World’s Biggest UAV Event

When Swan’s CEO headed to the world’s biggest UAV show in Detroit, Michigan, he experienced a little of what the future might hold. Many countries were represented — from Japan and South Korea to Estonia and Germany. As he stated, “This was like we have looked into the future where AI and UAV will dominate.”

After decades in technology and over twenty years as the founder and CEO of Swan Software Solutions, Alex Morozov was excited to attend an event that showcased the best the world has to offer when it comes to Unmanned Arial Vehicles.

Alex is no stranger to UAV technology. For years, Swan team members have worked on drone technology to assist in Ukraine’s defense. Alex even met members of a Ukrainian team dubbed “Skyfall” like the James Bond movie.

As a Ukrainian American, Alex found the most important the message at this exhibition was “Battlefield Proven in Ukraine.” There was no single drone-related company which was not working and testing drones in Ukraine. This “Battlefield Proven” technology ensured highest quality hardware.

Alex shared what most surprised him at the event. “Technology. Tomorrow is already here. So much innovation. So much AI.”

While the technology on display was impressive, Alex had one stand-out favorite. “My favorite display was a drone-copter which can carry humans and cost $150K but it says when in production cost will be 50% from it. Crazy, it is like a new luxury car.”
