Meet Michael: A Project Manager with an Unexpected Degree

Michael is a part of the Swan team and works as a Project Manager. His responsibilities are many and varied, but he attempted to list them all, “Team management, project management, cost, time and project estimation, team distribution, work in Jira and control of tasks, negotiations with the client, maintaining the documentary base, launching the project, support of the project, compiling scrum tables, monitoring burnout schedules, creating artifacts for scrum sprints, and developing sprint logs after them.”

Michael enjoys working at Swan. When asked to describe his favorite thing about working at Swan, he said, “The company is not like other IT companies. There is an atmosphere of friendship and mutual assistance to achieve common results by helping our clients achieve theirs.”

As to what traits he believes make a good developer, Michael said, “I think the most important trait of a good software developer is a positive attitude. Developers can face many challenges on a daily basis. Keeping a positive attitude can help to ensure that they are able to achieve positive results.”

Music and Law

Michael has a degree in law, and he hopes to bring these strengths over to help him excel as a Project Manager.

While he may be a Project Manager with a law degree, Michael’s dream job would be to be a rock star. Before the war, Michael was the vocalist in a rock group.

It’s no surprise that he counts listening to music among his favorite hobbies as well. When asked what quote inspires him, Michael said that he often finds inspiration in song lyrics.

Michael hopes to gain his PhD in the future.

Travel and More

Michael makes time for volunteering. He supports local organizations in a few towns.

He also loves animals–especially cats.

When asked about his favorite vacation, Michael selected Greece as his favorite place to visit. He explained that it is a wonderful place to visit due to the amazing people.
