Looking Ahead To 2021

As we get ready to close the doors to 2020 and open new doors to 2021, it’s only natural to reflect on what’s happened throughout the world over the past 12 months. No doubt there will be volumes written about this year. Can you imagine children reading about this time in history books years from now? It’s been a year full of challenges, struggles, and heartbreaks. But we don’t want to take these feelings into 2021 with us, do we?

As we approach the new year, it’s exciting to see what it might hold. The new opportunities and possibilities it could open up is inspiring to think about. 

Reflecting on what could come

Thinking about public places starting to fully reopen, remembering what it was like to walk into a public space with no masks, walking into places without getting your temperature taken, able to go to in-person events, and able to extend hospitality without worrying about social distancing. Thinking about overthrowing this “new normal” for a return to just normal.

We would like all of that to go away in a heartbeat, wouldn’t we? And while we don’t think January 1st, 2021 is going to be a magical day where all of it disappears, it is comforting to think about the possibilities of next year. We can still look forward to starting another year rather than being discouraged. 

As we walk into next year, don’t be afraid to set new goals, accept new challenges, and pursue your dreams! Don’t let the current circumstances steal your joy and happiness. Explore the opportunities in front of you. Take advantage of today.
