Meet Roman: A Developer Who Loves Spending Time with Friends

Roman enjoys his work as a Python/Django Developer at Swan Software Solutions. He likes the feeling of control, the planning required, and the structure involved in development.

Roman believes the most important traits of a good software developer are “good and fast understanding of what you need to solve and knowledge of ready-made tools for helping to do that.”

As a volunteer, Roman was able to share his interest with others. He volunteered to teach children how to program. Of the experience, he says, “It was cool.”

Friends

Roman believes that every activity is better when shared with friends. Although many people would say something like “I like to play computer games” when asked about their hobby, Roman has a different take on hobbies. “Spending time with my friends is more my hobby because conversation with friends makes me happier.”

Roman and his friends often plan interesting activities to fill their time together. They swim in pools, play volleyball on the beach, and picnic in the forest. But don’t expect to hear Roman called by his name, “My friends call me Romanchikus.”

One other activity they often enjoy is planning and pulling pranks on close friends.

Fun

Beyond spending time with friends, Roman also enjoys playing volleyball.

One other pastime that leaves people perplexed is Roman’s ability to watch YouTube videos at 2x speed. “No one understands how I can clearly understand the content.” Perhaps he’ll next enjoy watching Swan Software Solutions’ new YouTube channel at 2x speed.

Future

The proudest accomplishment Roman has is that he was able to move to a new city and create a new life without help from anyone. His future goals include living in his own apartment.

We’re happy Roman is part of the team here at Swan. For more information on how a custom solution could help your company succeed, contact us.
